'Kal Ho Naa Ho', the iconic film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta, is set for a grand re-release in theatres this month. Dharma Productions made the exciting announcement via a social media post, confirming that Nikhil Advani's beloved romantic drama will return to cinemas on November 15. The announcement was accompanied by the energetic line, “‘Laal ab sabke dil ka haal hai, hone wala ab kamaal hai! #KalHoNaaHo re-releasing in cinemas on 15th November at @pvrcinemas_official @inoxmovies!”

Karan Johar, who wrote the story of Kal Ho Naa Ho, also shared the news on his Instagram, adding a nostalgic touch by posting the film’s title track. The movie, which originally released on November 28, 2003, has remained a timeless favorite, not just for its memorable music but also for the chemistry between Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta. The film also featured Saif Ali Khan in a significant role, alongside a talented ensemble cast including Jaya Bachchan, Sushma Seth, Reema Lagoo, Lillete Dubey, and Delnaaz Irani in supporting roles.

'Kal Ho Naa Ho' tells the story of Naina Kapoor (Preity Zinta), a New York-based MBA student who falls in love with her terminally ill neighbor, Aman Mathur (Shah Rukh Khan). Despite facing his own life-threatening illness, Aman is determined to ensure Naina's happiness after his death. In a selfless act, he plans to bring her together with his best friend, Rohit (Saif Ali Khan), even though it means sacrificing his own love for her. One of the film’s most unforgettable moments is Shah Rukh Khan’s heartfelt confession, “I love you very much, Naina,” as he reads from a blank diary, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the film in 2020, Karan Johar shared a moving video that compiled some of Kal Ho Naa Ho’s most emotional and memorable moments. Reflecting on the film’s significance, Johar wrote, “This film has been such an emotional journey for me, and perhaps for all of us. It’s surreal to have my father’s presence in every frame as I rewatch it today.” Kal Ho Naa Ho won several accolades, including two National Film Awards, cementing its place as a classic in Indian cinema.
