Kangana Ranaut’s Team REACTS To FIR Against Rhea Chakraborty By Sushant Singh Rajput’s Father, Takes A Dig At Mahesh Bhatt

Kangana Ranaut's team said that the actress is glad Rhea Chakraborty and Mahesh Bhatt's angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's case will be investigated.

New Delhi: In a major development in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the ‘Raabta’ actor’s father KK Singh has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and five other people at Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police station on Sunday (July 26). The ‘Jalebi’ actress and five other individuals including Showik Chakraborty have been booked under Sections 341, 342, 380, 406,420, 306 and 120 (B) of the Indian Penal Code. KK Singh has accused Rhea Chakraborty of threatening his son and keeping him away from his family. A four-member Patna Police team has reached Mumbai to quiz the Bollywood actress in connection with the case. In his complaint, Sushant’s father alleged that Rhea blackmailed the late actor and threatened to malign his image by showing his doctors’ receipts to the media. Singh further mentioned in his FIR that Rhea, who was living with Sushant, moved out from his place on June 8. He alleged that the ‘Chehre’ actress took away cash, laptops, jewelry, credit card, its pin number, important documents and Sushant’s doctors’ receipts. Kangana Ranaut, who has been quite vocal about the unfair treatment of outsiders in Bollywood in wake of SSR’s demise, questioned why Rhea ‘disappeared’ few days before the actor took the drastic step. Kangana’s team, while replying to ABP News’ Rubika Liyaquat’s tweet, wrote, “Rhea was with Sushant for last 6 months, she hired Mahesh Bhatt as his psychiatrist and just two days before his death mysteriously everyone disappeared... glad this whole thing will be investigated now.”

Kangana's team shared the copy of FIR lodged by Sushant's father and said that the movie mafia tried to take advantage of his vulnerability.

Shekhar Suman, who has been actively demanding a CBI investigation in Sushant's case, requested the late actor's family to come forward and 'openly say that they suspect murder'. "Requesting the family of Sushant to come out openly saying they suspect murder and not abetment to suicide and insist for a CBI enquiry.we are all with them.They shldnt be under any duress. #NationWantsSushanthTruth," Suman tweeted.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhatt recorded his statement in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's case on Monday (July 27). The filmmaker reportedly said that he never offered 'Sadak 2' to the 'Pavitra Rishta' actor. Talking about Rhea Chakraborty, the actress' lawyer was spotted at her residence in Mumbai on Tuesday (July 28). She had earlier urged Home Minister Amit Shah to initiate CBI probe into Sushant's case. Stay tuned for more updates!
