New Delhi: Disney Plus Hotstar on Monday released a teaser of Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey, Chitrangda Singh starrer ‘Gaslight.' The film is a thriller and has a classic whodunit mystery at its core. 

The teaser shows Vikrant entering the lift first and Sara following soon after. He asks Sara if she's hiding from the paparazzi. Sara replies she's there for a script meeting. Vikrant takes a jab at her and says she must be playing a 'glam doll' in the film. Sara corrects him, "No! It's a murder mystery." She then asks Vikrant if he's playing a "small-town rooted hero" in a non-"Massey" entertainer. He says he's also in a thriller which is a murder mystery. They are then joined by Chitrangda,who also reveals she is there for a film meeting- a murder mystery. They all then realise that they are going for the same meeting. The lights go out at that moment and the lift is stopped. An old oil lamp emerges in the middle of the lift. 

Sara also shared the new teaser for Gaslight on Instagram and wrote, "Imagine if you’re stuck in an elevator? Suddenly lights out no generator (lightbulb emoji) Well this company can’t get better (hands raised in celebration emoji) #Gaslight streaming on 31st March on @disneyplushotstar #GaslightOnHotstar."

The film also features Rahul Dev and Akshay Oberoi. 
 
Talking about the film, director Pavan Kripalani said, "Gaslight' is a high-octane suspense thriller, the film will urge you to dig deep and hop onto a journey that brings new twists and turns as the story unfolds." 
 
He further mentioned, "With actors like Sara Ali Khan, Vikrant Massey and Chitrangda Singh as my lead cast, I couldn't be more excited to share this one with the audiences." 
 
The film, produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment and directed by Pavan Kirpalani, will release on March 31, 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar.
