Finally! Kattappa answers why he killed Baahubali
NEW DELHI: Since last two years, the whole nation has been pondering over the question, "Why Kattappa killed Baahubali?" and till the release of Baahubali 2, it will continue to be a mystery.
The actors and filmmaker of 'Baahubali' often encounter this question. One such occasion was the pre-release event of 'Baahubali-The Conclusion' in Hyderabad when Sathyaraj aka Kattappa was asked the same. The actor was invited on the stage to deliver a speech but was first asked the question which sent the nation into a frenzy. Sathyaraj was ready with his witty response in no time. He said, "Producers, Shobu sir and Prasad sir paid me very well. And Rajamouli told me to kill Baahubali, so I killed him. Otherwise how can I kill Prabhas? He has been my darling since 'Mirchi' (a 2003 hit in which both the stars- Prabhas and Sathyaraj acted together).
