New Delhi: The action film 'Fighter' starring Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan is keenly anticipated. On January 25 of next year, the Siddharth Anand movie will be released in theatres. Hrithik shared a still from the movie on Instagram and added the hashtag "7 months to Fighter" as the cast began counting down the remaining days.
The "Greek God of Bollywood" appears prepared for combat in the picture, sporting a pilot G-suit and gloves. He stands with his back to the camera and holds onto a part of an aeroplane while gazing at the skyline.
Sharing the poster, Hrithik captioned it as, "#Fighter #25Jan2024 #7MonthsToFighter"

As soon as Hrithik dropped the post, celebs and fans went into a frenzy over the first look from the film. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar and actress Sanjeeda Sheikh reacted to Hrithik's post with red heart emojis while his cousin and actress Pashmina Roshan commented with fire emojis on Hrithi's post.
After Pathaan's enormous success earlier this year, Siddharth Anand talked about directing Fighter alongside Hrithik and Deepika. He mentioned that it's his third movie with Hrithik after Bang Bang and War in an interview. According to him, Rajveer and Kabir, Hrithik's characters in the earlier two films are "two different people and personalities, completely opposite."
During the interview, Siddharth said, "And Patty, the character he’s playing in Fighter, he’s made it his own. He’s like a chameleon, he just adapts and becomes that character for that one year (when he’s shooting the film). So he can bring a certain genuineness to it that can last over a franchise, it’s not just made up for that moment, he becomes that person. So Patty is really something Hrithik has really worked hard on, different from Kabir and Rajveer. It is really exciting to see him transform like that. It is like a dream for a director to have an actor who just submits himself to that film for so long. He is a joy.”
Along with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, 'Fighter' also stars actor Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role.
The high-octane aerial action drama will release on January 25, 2024.
