Deepfake Video Of Malayalam Stars Mohanlal, Mammootty And Fahadh Faasil As 'The Godfather' Characters Goes Viral
Malayalam stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil appear in the viral video from 'The Godfather' scene instead of Al Pacino, Alex Rocco, and John Cazzale.
New Delhi: When Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) visits Moe Green (Alex Rocco) in San Francisco to purchase the latter's interest in the casinos controlled by the Corleone family, it becomes one of the movie's most famous sequences. The incident is crucial to the plot since Michael's behaviour there foreshadows his development into a ruthless mobster. Additionally, it proves the misguided loyalty of his brother Fredo Corleone (John Cazale). The sequence from the 1972 film is currently popular among viewers in Kerala, but there's a twist: Malayalam stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, and Fahadh Faasil appear in the viral video instead of Al Pacino, Alex Rocco, and John Cazzale. Fans may now imagine the legendary movie with their local idols playing the lead thanks to deep fake technology.
A youthful Mohanlal as Michael Corleone in the video appears to be credible. As Fredo, Fahadh Faasil is almost too good to be true. On the other hand, Mammootty's Moe Green, who speaks the entire scenario, likewise strikes the audience as sincere.

A full version of the movie starring Mohanlal as Michael Corleone is currently being requested by fans. In the comments section, requests have been made to even use the voices of Malayalam celebrities. "I didn’t want the clip to end. I can watch the entire movie with these people,” wrote one user.
Another user commented, "Superb! Stunning how almost real it looks. Would be phenomenal if Mohanlal’s, Mamootty’s and Fahadh’s voices could be used too. That tech is already pretty advanced now. Please do try!"
Francis Ford Coppola's film The Godfather was inspired by Mario Puzo's book of the same name. The movie later influenced the crime drama subgenre in international film industries. Many films, like Mani Ratnam's Nayakan, were influenced by The Godfather even in India.
