New Delhi: Deepika Padukone is one of the most sought-after actresses in the country. With a number of projects in her kitty, the ‘Pathan’ actress is currently busy shooting for her upcoming films back-to-back. Padukone was spotted at the airport as she left for Hyderabad to shoot for her forthcoming film alongside Prabhas. Tentatively titled ‘Project K’, this movie directed by Nag Ashwin also features Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role.

As Deepika Padukone started shooting, she received a warm welcome from the team of ‘Project K’. The welcome was a traditional kit of South India with bangles, a saree and a gajra. Along with the kit, there was a note attached to it from the team.

The note read, “To the daughter of the South, who’s been ruling the hearts globally. To the princess of the nation, who’s cherished as a treasure. Welcome home DP! Come, let’s conquer the world together”.

Vyjayanthi Movies shared the post on their social media and wrote, ‘Welcome Queen’. Deepika Padukone also shared the post in one of her Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, other than ‘Project K’, Deepika Padukone will also be seen featuring in a lead role in Shakun Batra’s upcoming untitled movie, ‘Pathan’, ‘Fighter’, ‘The Intern’, ‘83’ and the retelling of ‘Mahabharata’ from Draupadi’s point of view.
