CBI For Sushant Singh Rajput: Actor’s Sister Priyanka Singh Writes ‘The Most Melancholic Realisation That You’re Not There’

New Delhi: Earlier today, the Supreme Court ordered a probe into the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput by CBI. Since then, starting from the late actor’s family to his peers from the industry, all hailed the apex court’s verdict and took to their social media and welcomed the decision. The family of the ‘Dil Bechara’ actor released a statement after SC’s verdict saying that they love their country more than ever. Shweta Singh Kirti also congratulated her extended family who have been fighting for her brother’s justice on social media. After the verdict came out, Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Priyanka Singh took to her Twitter and shared a picture along with the late actor. She expressed how melancholic it is for her to even slightly realize that her soul friend is not with her anymore. Her tweet read, “Destiny’s Rockstar and my soul friend... it’s most melancholic- the slightest of realisation that you are not there!!! #CBITakesOver”

The ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ actor’s US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti also said that CBI for SSR is just the beginning and the first step for the truth. She further went on and wrote that she has full faith on CBI and congratulated the extended family fighting for the late actor’s justice. Shweta thanked God for the first step towards victory and unbiased investigation.
The statement released by the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor’s family read, “From Sushant’s family 3.30pm, 19 August 2020. We,  Sushant’s family. Thank our friends. Well-wishers. Media and millions of fans worldwide for their love for Sushant and support for us. We are particularly thankful to Shri Nitish Kumar, Hon’ble Chief Minister. Bihar for setting the wheel of justice in motion. Now that the country’s premier investigating agency has taken over, we believe that all those involved in the dastardly crime will be brought to justice. We believe that public trust in institutions is important. Today’s development has reaffirmed our faith in India as a robust democracy.
