Box Office report:`Half Girlfriend` vs. `Hindi Medium`

New Delhi: Looks like 'Half Girlfriend' defeated 'Hindi Medium' at the Box Office on the first weekend! Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor's latest film, which is based on Chetan Bhagat's eponymous novel, has collected total Rs 37.15 crore till day 4. A report in Box Office India reads, "The Sunday figures may have been affected by the IPL final though 'Bahubali 2' (Hindi) had no such problems against the cricket match." The other release, Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar starrer ' Hindi Medium', collected Rs 15.71 crore on Sunday. With this, the total weekend collection of the Saket Chaudhary-directorial stands at Rs 11.25 crore. "The film has a tax exemption in Maharashtra which has really helped the cause of the film and now it will need Monday to be similar to Friday if it is to have a good run at the box office," according to Box Office India.
