Alia Bhatt Opens Up On Working With SS Rajamouli In 'RRR', Shares Her Experience Of Shooting In Telugu
Alia Bhatt, in her recent interaction, revealed that she worked on the dialogues of 'RRR' for one-and-a-half year.
S.S. Rajamouli's RRR has been making waves ever since it was revealed that Jr. NTR and Ram Charan will star in the film. The highly anticipated flick will mark the debut of Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt in South Cinema. The 'Kalank' actress recently wrapped up her first schedule for the film in Hyderabad.

Alia Bhatt, while talking to a leading daily, opened up about her experience while shooting for the film in Hindi and Telugu. She expressed her excitement over working with the likes of Rajamouli and other South stars in the much-awaited film. The 'Gully Boy' actress said that she was speaking her lines in her sleep after 'literally living with lines' for one-and-a-half year.
"Shooting for this film was a very different experience for me because along with Hindi, I also had to shoot in Telugu, which is a language I don’t know. I literally lived with the lines for a year and a half. By the end of it I was speaking my lines in my sleep. I was waking up and saying my lines for breakfast, snack and dinner. I’m extremely excited and thrilled to be a part of this film to be directed by Rajamouli sir and to work with these extremely talented and larger than life actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan," Alia told Hindustan Times.
The makers of 'RRR' resumed the shoot in October after several lockdown restrictions were lifted. Alia joined the film's team in the first week of December 2020. The movie will feature Ajay Devgn in a cameo appearance. Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris are also part of the period action drama.
''RRR', which is being helmed by 'Baahubali' fame S.S Rajamouli, will narrate the fictional tale of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. It will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and other languages. The film is being produced by DVV Danayya under his banner of DVV Entertainment Banner.
Talking about Alia Bhatt, the 'Raazi' actress was last seen in 'Sadak 2', which received scathing reviews from the critics and fans. She has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Brahmastra' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'.

Alia's wedding has become the talk of the town after beau Ranbir Kapoor revealed that they would get married soon. The couple is dating since the past two-and-a-half years now.
