Maargan OTT Release: When And Where To Watch Vijay Antony’s Supernatural Thriller

Vijay Antony’s supernatural investigative thriller Maargan is now ready to entertain fans on the small screen.

After its successful theatrical run in Tamil and Telugu, Vijay Antony’s supernatural investigative thriller Maargan is now ready to entertain fans on the small screen. The actor's production banner, Vijay Antony Film Corporation, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Friday to confirm that the film will be available for streaming on Prime Video from July 25.

Where to Watch Maargan

In their latest announcement, the production house wrote, “The Blockbuster thriller #Maargan is now streaming on @PrimeVideo🔥🦉 Watch now.” This update was met with excitement from fans who missed the film’s theatrical release or wanted to revisit it.

What Maargan Is About

Directed by Leo John Paul, Maargan is a dark thriller that blends investigative crime with supernatural elements. It revolves around Dhruv, a high-ranking police officer played by Vijay Antony, who is assigned to a chilling serial killer case. The murderer uses a mysterious serum that turns women's bodies black after death. Suspicion initially falls on Aravind, portrayed by Ajay Dhishan, but Dhruv soon discovers that the truth runs far deeper.

Also featuring P. Samuthirakani in a key role, the film’s clever screenplay and eerie atmosphere have been appreciated by audiences and critics alike.

Suresh Babu garu has even promised to release all my future films in Telugu."

He also credited director Leo John Paul for the film’s quality and praised debutant Ajay Dhishan, stating, “I’m grateful to Leo John Paul for crafting such a good film and happy to have introduced Ajay with this project.”

Maargan has been produced by Fatima Vijay Antony, with Vijay Antony himself composing the music—another facet of his multi-talented contribution to the project.
