BTS’ Jimin reflected on his military service, late-night talks with Jungkook, daily routines, and personal growth, offering fans a glimpse into his journey.

BTS’ Jimin recently penned a heartfelt letter to ARMY, sharing his thoughts as he steps into the new year. He reflected on his military service, late-night talks with Jungkook, daily routines, and personal growth, offering fans a glimpse into his journey.

Jimin shares a letter for BTS fans

Jimin opened his letter to fans by reflecting on his military service since enlisting in December 2023. He wrote, “Hello, ARMY, this is Jimin. I enlisted in December the year before last, and before I knew it, two years have already passed.” He added, “I’ve been serving in the military for about a year and two months now. Yes… time really does seem to flow differently here.”

The singer expressed his eagerness to reconnect with fans and offered a glimpse into his daily military routine. He wrote, “It’s not easy, but I’ve been learning and experiencing things, so I’m looking forward to the day when I can chat with you all about everything that’s happened here. Hmm, my daily life hasn’t changed much. Since it’s the military, I spend my days training, working, and exercising, and before I know it, the day is over, and it’s time to sleep again.”

In his letter, Jimin shared how his late-night talks with Jungkook, as "Companion Soldiers," revolve around their military journey, future plans, and what they hope to bring to BTS and their fans upon their return.

“One thing that has changed, though, is that since the year turned, the conversations Jungkook and I have before going to bed have changed a lot. Since the days when we can meet ARMY are getting closer and closer, we’ve been talking a lot about what we need to prepare before we see you again, what kind of image we want to show, and what kind of life we’ll live moving forward,” he said.

Despite his excitement, Jimin confessed to feeling a bit of nervousness, acknowledging the time that's passed since BTS last performed together. He shared, “Honestly, there’s some fear. It’s been a while since we’ve all been on stage, and I haven’t fully immersed myself in music for some time. But my determination to deliver the best performance for all of you who have waited for us remains strong.” He promised, “I’ll prepare with all my effort... I’ll come back in the best shape possible.”

The singer wrapped up his letter with a heartfelt message for ARMY: “To our ARMY, who I miss and am forever grateful for, please stay healthy and happy until we meet again. Wishing you lots of blessings in the new year. I love you. Truly. No, seriously, I really do. Hehe.”
