Complaint Filed Against Kangana Ranaut For Her Posts Inciting Communal Violence In Bengal
Riju Dutta, TMC spokesperson and a resident of Raja Mahindra road in Kolkata, went forward to lodge a FIR against her for preaching ‘hate propaganda’ in order to incite communal violence in Bengal.
Kolkata: After her Twitter account was permanently suspended, actress Kangana Ranaut on Thursday allegedly posted several offensive stories through her Instagram account. Her posts were an indication of communal hatred against the controversial political violence in Bengal. A lot of people reacted against it by reporting her account.
The complaint mentioned that "Kangana Ranaut has posted several posts from her verified official Instagram handle bearing @kanganaranaut in the 'Stories' sections. She has also distorted and maligned the image of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal - Smt. Mamata Banerjee. Hence she is to be charged against hate propaganda to incite violence in West Bengal."
Twitter suspended her official account earlier this week following her controversial tweets where she talked about the violence in West Bengal post TMC's win. In a series of tweets, the actress had made comments on the alleged violence that took place in West Bengal after election results were declared recently which led to her account suspension as it is against the regulations of the micro-blogging site.
Moments after she shared a video of herself in tears while speaking about atrocities happening in Bengal, her account got suspended. However the video is already viral on Twitter and is being shared by her fans.
