Hailey Bieber Tells Selena Gomez About Getting Death Threats, Singer Asks Fans To Stop It

Selena Gomez defended Hailey Bieber and urged fans to stop making judgments.

New Delhi: Selena Gomez defended Hailey Bieber on Friday and urged fans to stop making judgments about the two and their alleged dispute. Along with disclosing that Hailey had called her, she also wrote on her Instagram Story that Hailey has been receiving death threats. She appealed to her fans to stop being mean and harassing, stressing that this isn't who she is.

Selena penned a short note on her Instagram story. “Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity. This isn't what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying. I've always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.”

Social media users, particularly those on TikTok, have alleged over the past few weeks that Hailey is a "mean girl" and that she and her friends haven't always treated Selena warmly. Selena had shared some embarrassing videos of herself on Instagram Stories and TikTok.

Afterward, Kylie Jenner posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Story with the caption "this was an accident???" over her brows. She also uploaded a picture of Hailey Bieber's eyebrows.

Selena thanked her fans on TikTok earlier this month for their support, saying,"Please, please be kinder and consider others mental health. My heart has been heavy, and I only want good for everyone. All my love.”

This is the first time that Selena has addressed Hailey by name through her social media accounts. At the 2022 Academy Museum Met Gala, Selena and Hailey had already gotten together and posed for pictures. Hailey is married to Selena's ex-boyfriend, singer Justin Bieber.

On the work front, Selena Gomez is presently filming the third season of the Emmy-nominated series 'Only Murders in the Building', which also stars Steve Martin and Martin Short.
