Taking to her Twitter, Mia took a dig at Priyanka Chopra for her silence on the ongoing farmers’ protest. She further said that she is ‘curious’ to know about it. Mia Khalifa’s tweet read, “Is Mrs. Jonas going to chime in at any point? I’m just curious. This is very much giving me shakira during the Beirut devastation vibes. Silence.”

Priyanka Chopra earlier tweeted and wrote, “Our farmers are India’s Food Soldiers. Their fears need to be allayed. Their hopes need to be met. As a thriving democracy, we must ensure that this crises is resolved sooner than later.”

Mia also recently put up a picture and shared a video of her having Indian food as she hit back at trolls who accused her of lending support to farmers in exchange of money. She tweeted, “Thank you @rupikaur_ for this beautifully harvested feast, and thank you @theJagmeetSingh for the Gulab!!! I’m always worried I’ll get too full for dessert, so I eat it during a meal. You know what they say, one Gulab a day keeps the fascism away! #FarmersProtests”

Mia Khalifa has earlier also expressed her displeasure towards people who are bringing in her past in the porn industry. She shared a picture of the protest against herself and Greta Thunberg on Twitter and wrote, “Confirming I have in fact regained consciousness, and would like to thank you for your concern, albeit unnecessary. Still standing with the farmers, though”.

Meanwhile, thousands of farmers are continuing to camp in Delhi NCR against the three farm bills enacted by the Central government last year.
