New Delhi: On Thursday, singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, the late Elvis Presley's only child, was brought to the hospital in California. According to the media, she had a cardiac attack. She was in a coma and died at the age of 54.
In a statement, Lisa's mother Priscilla Presley said, "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us."
Lisa Marie was born in 1968, and like her famous father, she went on to pursue a career in music.
At the Golden Globes on Tuesday, Presley made her most recent public appearance. She attended the awards show with her mom. The two were in attendance to show their support for the Golden Globe-winning biopic Elvis, which stars Austin Butler as the king of rock and roll.
