New Delhi: The teaser of Parineeti Chopra and Harrdy Sandhu’s upcoming film ‘Code Name Tiranga’ was released on Thursday. The film is an espionage thriller directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and will release on October 14. 

The 45-second teaser shows Parineeti in an action avatar, from shooting to doing hand-to-hand combat scenes. Parineeti will be playing a RAW agent who is on an exhilarating journey across many countries. The film is a story of a spy on an unfaltering and fearless mission for her nation in a race against time where sacrifice is her only choice.

Talking about the film, Parineeti told IANS, “I am back again to present myself in a whole new avatar that no one has seen me do before! It is my attempt to keep doing disruptive content as I have been and to push my limits to bring something new on the table for the audiences. The bruises and me holding the gun in the poster is just a teaser of all the things that is in store for the audiences. This is just a sneak peek into my character and I can assure you that we intend to shock and awe with this film," she added. 

Looking forward to his next to hit the big screens, director Ribhu Dasgupta, said, “I am glad to announce my next film ‘Code Name: Tiranga’; set to release in cinemas this October 14. I hope the audiences enjoy this action entertainer which talks about a soldier’s sacrifice in the line of duty for her nation.” 

The film is Parineet and Ribhu’s second collaboration after Netflix film ‘The Girl on the Train. 

The film will also bring together actors like Sharad Kelkar, Rajit Kapur, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Shishir Sharma, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Deesh Mariwala.   

She will next be seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s Uunchai, starring Amitabh Bachchan.
