Charu Asopa Trolled For Wearing Sindoor After Filing For Divorce With Rajeev Sen

Charu Asopa recently posted pictures with her daughter Ziana on Instagram. In the pictures, Charu is seen in a traditional avatar wearing an orange saree. and sindoor on her forehead.

New Delhi: Television actress Charu Asopa has separated from her husband and Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev Sen and the couple has initiated their divorce proceedings. The actress recently posted pictures with her daughter Ziana on Instagram. In the pictures, Charu is seen in a traditional avatar wearing an orange saree. What caught everybody’s attention was the sindoor that she was wearing on her forehead.

Sharing the pictures, Charu wrote, “Happy 9 months bday my love, life, and laughter. Thank you for coming into my life and making it so beautiful. I love you my Jaan."

The actress posted a reel also sporting the same look. Netizens were quick to troll and question the sindoor that she was wearing. One fan commented, “Haven't you divorced Rajeev? I don't understand why you wore sindoor?" Another user wrote, “Sindoor kyu laga ke rakhi hai dramebaaz." "Samjh nhi aaya ki yh sindur kyu lagaya hai...jab rishta hi nhi rakhna hai ,so sorry for Rajiv and Ziana," another comment read.

After dating for a little over a quarter of a year, Rajeev and Charu tied the knot on June 7, 2019. Reports of their marriage being in troubled water started surfacing from early on. The couple finally decided to separate officially and on June 7 Charu sent a notice to Rajeev asking for an amicable split from him. His response was a second notice in which he accused her of something else.

Earlier, in a chat with the Times of India, Charu said, “Everyone knows that we have been having problems in our marriage for the past three years since the time we tied the knot. But I kept giving him chances. Earlier, it was for me and then for our daughter, Ziana. Par woh ek chance dete dete teen saal kab nikal gaye mujhe kuchh pata nahi chala.”

“He has trust issues and I can’t take it anymore. I sent him a simple notice asking for an amicable separation, as there is nothing left in our relationship. I want to part ways because I don’t want my daughter to grow up in a toxic and abusive environment. I don’t want her to see people hurling abuses at each other,” the actress claimed.

Rajeev, on the other hand, alleges that Charu hid information about her previous marriage from him, and it came as a complete surprise to him. Charu, on the other hand, said that the actor was aware of her first marriage and was really sympathetic to her predicament. Charu says that the actor is lying.

Charu also claims that Rajeev has never been there for her and their daughter. She said she spent most of her pregnancy alone.
