When Shah Rukh Khan's 'Chhichhorapan' Comment Got An Epic Response From Aamir Khan
Let’s take a look back at the time when Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan engaged in a heated debate over the concept of "chhichhorapan" in film publicity.
New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan will both go down in Bollywood history as legendary actors who captivate audiences with their own kind of storytelling. Let’s revisit a memorable feud between the two stars that ignited years ago. During the promotional campaigns for their respective 2009 blockbusters '3 Idiots' (starring Aamir Khan) and 'My Name Is Khan' (starring Shah Rukh Khan), the two celebrities engaged in a fiery spat.
Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots' marketing campaign was groundbreaking since it saw the actor travelling throughout India in disguise and taking on several personas to engage with the people. This strategy was deemed "chhichhorapan" (immaturity) by Shah Rukh Khan, who implied that it befitted someone of Aamir's status.
Shah Rukh Khan slammed Aamir Khan's original marketing strategy, calling it “Ye ek kisam ka chhichhorapan lagta hai.” He implied that he would never use similar tactics to promote his own films.

Woh expert hai inn sab mein (As far as childishness is concerned, he (Shah Rukh Khan) would know more about it because he himself does a lot of childishness in his life. He is an expert in all these things).”
