Tom Hiddleston Says Shah Rukh Khan Can Be 'Great' Choice To Play Loki; Says He Watched Actor's Devdas
Tom Hiddleston stated that Shah Rukh is the only Bollywood actor who could play a variant of Loki.
New Delhi: Tom Hiddleston believes that Shah Rukh Khan can portray an alternate version of Loki. Hiddleston portrays Loki, the God of Mischief in the Marvel universe. He stated that Shah Rukh is the only Bollywood actor who could play a variant of Loki in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Tom Hiddleston was asked whether he could pick someone to play the role.
“Shah Rukh Khan. He would be great. He is a good variant, I think,” Tom Hiddleston said.
The Hollywood actor also mentioned seeing Shah Rukh starrer movie 'Devdas' in the same interview.
“I remember it was quite a long time ago now. I remember going to see Devdas. I mean that's quite an old film. I remember going to see that at my local cinema, and it was such an extraordinary. I would say I have never seen anything like that. So, yeah I remember that very much,” he added.
A few days ago, the second season of Loki ended. On October 6, Loki Season 2 premiered on Disney+.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has given us two of the year's biggest hits. With 'Pathaan', he made his big-screen comeback first. Deepika Padukone plays the lead role in Siddharth Anand's film, which also has Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in major supporting roles. John Abraham plays the antagonist. 'Jawan', Shah Rukh's next film, was released on September 7. The action flick, which is directed by Atlee, starred Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in lead roles.
Shah Rukh Khan recently made a cameo in the spy movie Salman Khan starrer 'Tiger 3', which also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
