Suriya Sustains Minor Injury On Set Of 'Suriya 44', Producer Rajsekhar Says 'He's Perfectly Fine'
After the injury, Suriya is recommended to take some rest and the production of 'Suriya 44' has been put on hold.
New Delhi: An action sequence for Suriya's forthcoming film, which is tentatively named 'Suriya 44', was filming in Ooty when the Tamil actor suffered a minor head injury. The accident happened during the film's second schedule. Producer Rajsekar Pandian reassured Suriya's admirers on social media on August 9th on his health.
"Dear #AnbaanaFans, It was a minor injury. Pls don’t worry, Suriya Anna is perfectly fine with all your love and prayers," Rajsekar Pandian tweeted on his official X account. Rajsekar is also the CEO of 2D Entertainment.

Apparently, Suriya's wound is not too serious. A hospital in Ooty treated him, and now he has to take rest for a few days. There has been a brief pause in the shooting.
The public is waiting impatiently for news on Suriya's health and if filming for ‘Suriya 44’ will start up again.

Suriya 44 is said to be a comprehensive film brimming with "romance, humour, and war." The cast of the film includes Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran, Nassar, and Sujith Shankar, among other actors.

With a staggering budget of more than Rs 300 crore, director Siruthai Siva is bringing this historical drama to life.
