Ahan Shetty Eyes Fourth Film With Bengali Director Birsa Dasgupta

Suniel Shetty’s son, Ahan Shetty, is rapidly building his Bollywood career, and reports now suggest he may have signed his fourth film.

Fans can also look forward to Ahan’s Border 2, which is scheduled for release next year.

New Delhi: Ahan Shetty, the talented son of veteran actor Suniel Shetty, is reportedly all set to embark on his next cinematic venture. According to sources, Ahan has signed an action-drama film directed by renowned Bengali filmmaker Birsa Dasgupta. The project, produced by Shibasish Sarkar and Ribhu Dasgupta, is expected to go on floors in October.

This upcoming film will mark Birsa Dasgupta's directorial debut in Hindi cinema, although he has previously directed popular Hindi web series such as Mafia, Black Widows, and The Magic of Shiri. 

A reliable source told Hindustan Times, “Ahan has signed an actioner which will be directed by renowned Bengali director Birsa Dasgupta, and is being produced by Shibasish Sarkar and Ribhu Dasgupta." The film remains untitled as of now.

The team is currently finalising the female lead, and an official announcement is expected soon. “The female lead of the film is being finalised currently and the name will be announced soon," the insider added.

Ahan Shetty's career is gaining momentum, with several projects lined up. Apart from this untitled film, he has Border 2 scheduled for next year, as well as Shaad Ali's untitled project and his debut film, Tadap.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty recently shared an update about his daughter Athiya Shetty's career. The veteran actor revealed that Athiya has chosen to leave Bollywood and focus on her personal life. Suniel expressed his support for his daughter's decision, saying, “She’s got the best role of her life. You know, she’s working in the best film, and that is the life, the role of her mother and she’s loving it.” Athiya, who is married to Indian cricketer KL Rahul, seems to have found a new passion in motherhood.
