Sara Ali Khan Gets Burns On Belly While Promoting 'Murder Mubarak' And 'Ae Watan Mere Watan'

New Delhi: Actress Sara Ali Khan is currently gearing up for the releases of 'Ae Watan Mere Watan' and 'Murder Mubarak'. Amid the bustling schedule, an unfortunate incident unfolded as Sara Ali Khan accidentally burned her belly while preparing. However, Sara addressed the mishap with a touch of humour, sharing a video on her social media handle.

Sara Ali Khan encountered a minor burn incident on Wednesday in Mumbai. Taking to her Instagram, Sara shared a candid video dressed in athleisure attire. She could be seen in her vanity van applying ointment to alleviate the discomfort from the burn.

In the video, Sara humorously remarked, "Namaste Darshakon, Jab aap kar rahe ho 2 filmon ka promotion, there is bound to be some commotion."

The incident occurred when the actress accidentally spilt hot coffee on her belly while engrossed in promotional activities.

Expressing her situation, Sara mentioned, "Ab kya karein jal gaya mera pet, ho gayi main late, everybody has to wait."

In the caption, she wrote, “Welcome to Sara ka Sara Radio. Aaj ki taaza khabbar I got burnt. Kya Kare lesson is learned. What can we say- bad bad luck. But kamsekam it’s not Murder Mubarak.”

Many of Sara's admirers quickly flocked to the comment area to express their gratitude for her commitment. Saba Pataudi, her aunt, commented, "Jharna ..is a star lol. Hope the burn isn't too bad. Take care Wishing you a speedy recovery. All the best for promotions. Can't wait to watch Murder Mubarak!."

The trailer for ‘Murder Mubarak’ is out. The murder mystery stars Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar, and Aashim Gulati. The film will be released on Netflix on March 15.

Meanwhile, ‘Ae Watan Mere Watan’ is the story of a 22-year-old Usha, a Bombay college student, who launches an underground radio station to fuel the Quit India Movement. The film is set to release on Prime Videos on March 21.
