Rahul Dev Mourns Brother Mukul Dev’s Demise At 54, Cremation Scheduled In Delhi

Actor Mukul Dev, known for his work in popular films and television serials, passed away late Friday night in Delhi at the age of 54.

Actor Mukul Dev, known for his work in popular films and television serials, passed away late Friday night in Delhi at the age of 54. Actor Rahul Dev has shared a heartfelt message mourning the loss of his younger brother.

While Rahul did not disclose the cause of death, reports suggest that Mukul had been battling health issues for several days. He was reportedly hospitalised for over a week, and his condition deteriorated on Friday.

Rahul took to Instagram on Saturday to confirm the news of Mukul’s passing and to share details of the final rites.

In a solemn message, he wrote, “Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully at New Delhi last night. He’s survived by his daughter Sia Dev. Missed by siblings Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev and nephew Sidhant Dev. Please join us for cremation at 5 PM.”

Manoj Bajpayee offers condolences

Actor Manoj Bajpayee took to his Instagram handle to express his grief over the untimely demise of Mukul Dev.

Sharing a picture of the late actor, he wrote, "It’s impossible to put into words what I’m feeling. Mukul was a brother in spirit, an artist whose warmth and passion were unmatched. Mukul Dev's Career

Mukul Dev enjoyed a long and respected career in both television and cinema. He made his acting debut in 1996 with the TV serial Mumkin, portraying the character of Vijay Pandey. His relatable performances and strong screen presence quickly made him a household name. He went on to feature in several popular shows such as Gharwali Uparwali, Kasshish, Ssshhhh…Phir Koi Hai, and Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, among others.
