Bollywood stars lit up the Met Gala 2025, and one standout moment came when singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh shared a rare inside glimpse featuring fellow Indian icon Priyanka Chopra. Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Diljit posted a candid photo with Priyanka, her husband Nick Jonas, and global pop sensation Shakira — all looking stylish and relaxed.

He simply tagged the trio and added Shakira’s iconic track Hips Don’t Lie as background music, cheekily breaking the Met Gala’s famously strict no-photos-inside rule.

Who wore what at Met Gala 2025

Priyanka Chopra opted for a striking tailored polka-dot suit dress paired with a bold black hat, while Nick Jonas looked dapper in a classic black-and-white tailored ensemble. Diljit proudly wore his cultural heritage, donning a kurta, turban, and a tehmat (a long tunic with draped bottoms). Shakira chose a flowing pink creation by Prabal Gurung.

Shakira and Diljit’s adorable camaraderie

Earlier in the evening, Diljit was seen sharing screen space with Shakira and Nicole Scherzinger in a pre-event photoshoot. A video from their car ride has also gone viral, where Shakira sweetly introduced everyone present. Turning the camera to the Punjabi superstar, she cheerfully said, "Diljit! Indian stars at the Met Gala 2025

This year marked Diljit Dosanjh’s debut at fashion’s biggest night, alongside fellow debutants Shah Rukh Khan and Kiara Advani. Also in attendance were Isha Ambani and designer Manish Malhotra. For Priyanka Chopra, this was her fifth appearance at the Met Gala — a journey that began with her first red carpet alongside Nick Jonas back in 2017.
