Pawandeep Rajan Undergoes Three More Surgeries After Accident, Remains In ICU

Indian Idol Season 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan is currently recovering in the intensive care unit after suffering critical injuries in a road accident earlier this month in Uttar Pradesh.

In a recent update shared via Instagram Stories by his team, it was revealed that Pawandeep underwent three additional surgeries.

Pawandeep health update: Indian Idol Season 12 winner Pawandeep Rajan is currently recovering in the intensive care unit after suffering critical injuries in a road accident earlier this month in Uttar Pradesh. The popular playback singer was travelling to Delhi from Moradabad to board a flight to Ahmedabad for a scheduled performance when his SUV rammed into a stationary canter truck on May 5.

The crash left Pawandeep with several fractures and a head injury, prompting immediate medical attention. He was initially admitted to a nearby hospital before being transferred to a more advanced medical facility in Noida, where he has been under constant observation.

Pawandeep underwent three more surgeries

In a recent update shared via Instagram Stories by his team, it was revealed that Pawandeep underwent three additional surgeries, taking the total count to at least four since the mishap. “Pawan has undergone 3 more surgeries yesterday. Early morning he was taken into the OT and after 8 long hours all his remaining fractures were operated [on] successfully. Though he is still in ICU under observation and will remain there for few more days,” the statement read.

“As doctor rightly said, now the healing & recovery process has started, let’s just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again, thank you everyone for all the blessings and prayers," the statement added.

Earlier, close friend Govind Digari also shared a photograph of the singer from the hospital, sparking a wave of support across social media.
