Naga Chaitanya Calls Sobhita Dhulipala 'Dramatic', Claims She Lacks ‘Basic Human Skills'

In a candid conversation with Vogue India, Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya shared intimate details about their relationship, cooking skills and more.

New Delhi: The newlywed actors Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya recently gave fans a taste of their lively chemistry in their first joint interview with Vogue India. The duo tied the knot in December 2024. Fans were captivated by the couple's light-hearted banter as they revealed intimate secrets about their relationship, eccentric habits and survival instincts.

The interview, shared in a YouTube video on Vogue India’s channel, kicked off with a light-hearted question from Chay asking, "Who is more likely to apologise even when they aren't at fault?" Although Sobhita acknowledged that it was her, Chaitanya immediately added, "She doesn't believe in sorries and thank yous.

Sobhita and Naga's Cooking Skills

Then the subject of cooking came up. Both actors acknowledged that they are not very good cooks when asked who is the better cook and what is their favourite meal. Chaitanya smiled and said, "Neither of us cooks." Sobhita explained, "Every night he makes me hot chocolate," to which Chaitanya sarcastically replied, "That doesn't come under cooking as such. Hot chocolate, coffee—all these aren’t cooking. It’s basic human skills that you don’t have.”

Ever polite, Sobhita only said, "greatly appreciated."

The pair also discussed their opinions on one another's bizarre behaviours. Chaitanya didn't hesitate to point out that Sobhita definitely has some. “For sure,” he said, while Sobhita playfully responded, “Whether he finds them adorable is questionable.”

Another humorous question posed to the pair was who becomes more dramatic when sick. Chaitanya pointed to Sobhita, but she responded that, although she may feel sick "harder," he is unquestionably the more dramatic. Chaitanya joked, "When you are sick, you are fainting, collapsing."

Prior to making their engagement public in August 2024, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala had kept quiet about their relationship. The pair exchanged vows in a traditional South Indian wedding that took place at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on December 4, 2024.
