Akshay Kumar casts his vote
Akshay Kumar proudly displayed his inked finger after casting his vote and spoke to the media about the importance of voting. Praising the arrangements at the polling booth, he said, "The arrangements for senior citizens are great. Cleanliness has been maintained. I want everyone to come out and cast their votes."

Rajkummar Rao cast his vote at the Gyan Kendra Secondary School polling booth in Mumbai. Speaking to the Press Trust of India, he emphasized the significance of voting, saying, "It is our right in a democracy, so it's important that we step outside and vote. I have performed my duty. It is your turn now. Please vote."
Actor and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt also urged citizens to make their votes count, writing on social media, "Go vote Mumbai. Go vote Bandra. Your vote matters."

Celebs cast their votes
Other prominent figures, including directors Kabir Khan and Zoya Akhtar, actor Ali Fazal, and filmmaker-actor Farhan Akhtar, also turned up early to cast their votes and fulfill their civic duty. John Abraham was also one of the early voters, who later posed with fans outside the polling booth after casting his vote.

Polling for the single-phase Maharashtra Assembly Elections began at 7 am and will conclude at 6 pm, covering 288 assembly constituencies.
A total of 4,136 candidates, including 2,086 independents, are contesting the elections.
