Kartik Aaryan Reacts To Ex Sara Ali Khan's Comment On KWK, Says 'I Have Never Spoken About My Relationships'

Kartik Aaryan appears to be a little miffed that his ex-girlfriends Sara and Ananya Panday brought him up in the most recent episode of Koffee With Karan.

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan's latest remarks in an interview seem to contradict Reddit's belief that he and Sara Ali Khan are back together. Kartik appears to be a little miffed that his ex-girlfriends Sara and Ananya Panday brought him up in the most recent episode of Koffee With Karan.

Kartik was questioned about the ongoing scrutiny of his private life in an interview with Film Companion, particularly in light of his repeated mentions on Koffee With Karan. Considering that his relationships, rather than his job, frequently generate news, he held part of the media responsible for it. Kartik went on to say that perhaps his ex-girlfriends shouldn't have spoken about him either.

The 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' actor said, "Ek cheez mujhe ye bhi lagti hai ki (One thing that I also feel is) when there are two people in a relationship then the second person should also not talk about it. All of us should respect our relationships. I've never spoken about my relationships, and I expect the same from my partner."

"No, it's not like that," Kartik retorted, to a cry from someone in the audience who said he would find "someone better." He added that sometimes things don't work out with someone but "when you are with someone, you don’t imagine it to be like that or that it will end." He also said, “You should respect yourself also. Because when you mention such things (in interviews), the person listening is not thinking about just you but about the other person too.”

Given that Sara and Ananya had dated the same man in the past, Karan Johar had questioned them directly about Kartik Aaryan and whether it was easy for them to get along. Sara chose to respond to the question, but her discussion focused on relationships and breakups in general.

Sara had replied to Karan's question by saying, "I don't want to say that ya, it's all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn't always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it's friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever it's today, whatever it's tomorrow'. It's not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that.”

Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Kabir Khan's 'Chandu Champion' while Sara Ali Khan will be seen in 'Ae Watan Mere Watan.'
