Karan Johar Talks About His Dramatic Transformation. Know The Truth Behind His Weight Loss

Filmmaker Karan Johar addresses speculation about his weight loss, attributing it to discipline and a healthy lifestyle.

New Delhi: Many people are worried for filmmaker Karan Johar's health because of all the attention he's received online over his weight loss journey. Karan has now officially addressed the rumours surrounding his rapid weight drop. He has denied using Ozempic and has credited his change to his dedication to a healthy lifestyle.

Karan Johar ended the hype as part of an interview with India Today Digital conducted on the green carpet before the IIFA Digital Awards 2025. “It’s being healthy. Eating well, exercising, and doing your best to look good,” Karan said to the reporters.

Karan humorously said, "If I do that, I'll give my secret away." in response to someone pressing him for information about his routine.

When Karan Johar Addressed the Ozempic Rumours

On social media, people have been talking about Karan Johar's slimmer body and wondering what he did to get there. Karan Johar earlier addressed the accusations against Ozempic head-on on Instagram.

Posting a snapshot from X (formerly Twitter), he responded to a commenter who had said that the medicine was responsible for his weight reduction. The user also brought up an interview with Maheep Kapoor from 'Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives', where she shared how Ozempic's fast weight loss effects have led to prescription shortages for diabetic patients.

In response, Karan Johar mentioned Maheep Kapoor and playfully said, “#Maheep rightly called out people for using #ozempic for fast weight loss and driving it out of stock for people with diabetes. Hope she calls out #karanjohar too, the producer of #FabulousLives #bollywoodwives."
