Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor Trolled Over Picture With David Beckham; Gives A Befitting Comeback

David Beckham went to a lavish party that Bollywood celebrities like actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja put together.

The troll received a dose of his own medicine when Harsh Vardhan Kapoor responded, unwilling to let him get away with it.

New Delhi: Following his recent meeting with former football player David Beckham, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor faced trolling for his photo with the star. As the goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, David is in India for three days. He was present during the thrilling World Cup 2023 semi-final between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium. After the match, he went to a lavish party that Bollywood celebrities like actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja put together.

Sharing a picture with the Beckham on his X, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, brother of Sonam Kapoor, had written, "Met David Beckham last night...spoke to him about United of course and the state of the club .. can't reveal more.”

Replying to the picture, one Internet troll wrote, "Usne ye nahi poochha ki tu hai kaun (didn't he ask who you are)?".

The troll received a dose of his own medicine when Harsh Vardhan Kapoor responded, unwilling to let him get away with it.

"Bhai Woh mere ghar pe aaya.. Tu kaun hai (Brother, he came to my house. Who are YOU)?" he wrote.

Also, he clarified why he interacts with trolls after reading something another Internet user wrote, "One of the greatest pleasures of life is seeing two trolls with differential reach having a go at each other. I mean it in a good way. We are all trolls. It mirrors societal conflicts in a less violent manner."

"The only difference is I never instigate it... I do my own thing, but if someone is logging onto Twitter, going on my page to quote tweet me and simultaneously trying to low blow me (contradictory from them, by the way), I'll say what I want to them if I'm in the mood,” Harsh responded. 

Meanwhile, David Beckham was greeted by Sonam and Anand at the gate of their building and they posed for pictures with him before the guests began to arrive. Sonam wore a white crop top with dramatic cape sleeves, worn with a crimson saree. To finish the ensemble, she donned matching earrings and a choker. The actor had her hair pulled back into a bun.

The celebration was held at Sonam's Mumbai residence, and guests included Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Karisma Kapoor and many other celebs.
