'Grey's Anatomy' Actor Jack Axelrod Passes Away At 93

New Delhi: The 93-year-old actor Jack Axelrod has passed away. Jack was famous for his work on Grey's Anatomy and General Hospital. Throughout his decades-long career, Axelrod brought his expertise to both television and film. According to Jennifer Garland, his spokesperson, he passed away on November 28 in Los Angeles from natural causes, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter and Variety.

According to IMDB, when Axelrod graduated, he worked as an architect and also took on playing parts in several theatres. After steadily accumulating acting credits, he landed his breakout role in 1971. ‘Bananas,’ a comedy directed by Woody Allen and released in 1971, was Axelrod's first feature film.
From 1987 to 1989, Axelrod appeared in 40 episodes of the daytime drama ‘General Hospital’ as Victor Jerome. His many television appearances include 'My Name is Earl' as the Electrolarynx Guy and 'Grey's Anatomy' as semi-comatose Seattle Grace patient Charlie Yost.
