What Krushna Abhishek said about Govinda's condition
Krushna took to Instagram to inform fans, expressing his gratitude for their support. “Mama is feeling better now. Thank you all for your prayers and love. Wishing him a speedy recovery. God is kind. Pls let your prayers keep pouring in,” he wrote.

Krushna's wife, Kashmera Shah, visited Govinda at the hospital shortly after the incident. She arrived swiftly, avoiding interaction with the media.

How the accident occurred
The mishap occurred in the morning when Govinda was placing the firearm in his bag. The loaded gun accidentally fell from the bag and discharged, leading to an injury. It's reported that Govinda is the only person who uses the bag and keeps the pistol inside before heading out. Following the accident, Govinda sustained an injury to his leg, requiring a few stitches.
Govinda, who was preparing to leave for some personal commitments when the accident took place, later released an audio message to assure his fans of his improving health. In the message, the actor expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support and shared that the bullet had been successfully removed.
Govinda's statement
He said, “Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam (I am Govinda. Your blessings, the blessings of my parents, and the grace of my guru have helped me. I was shot, but the bullet has been removed. I thank the doctors here and everyone for their prayers. Thank you all),”
The 59-year-old actor will reportedly remain under medical observation for 48 hours before being discharged from the hospital.
