Deepika Padukone's Fans Support Actor As University Students Make Video Of Her Past Relationships: 'Unacceptable & Shameful'

After facing a lot of flak for her latest 'Koffee With Karan' episode with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone has become another target of online trolling.

New Delhi: After facing a lot of flak for her latest 'Koffee With Karan' episode with Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone has become another target of online trolling. This time, Deepika has become a target of trolling after a viral event from a college event went viral. In the video, we see a person dressed as Deepika Padukone's character Mastani from the movie 'Bajirao Mastani'.

In the backdrop on the projected screen, we see a montage of Deepika's pictures with celebs like Siddharth Mallya, Yuvraj Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and others on display. The video ends with a picture of Deepika and Ranveer's wedding and fans cheering for the performance.

The video seems to ridicule and discuss Deepika's romantic relationships. While many participated in the almost 'character assasination', many DP fans came out in support of the actor.

Fans criticized the BHU participants for their performance and Deepika Padukone's character assassination. They raised concerns about the same and many even asked for stringent action against those responsible for the skit.

While a user called it 'shameful', others wrote, 'unacceptable' on the post. A user also wrote, "Reminded me of AIB roast.' A fan club of Deepika also commented, "This behaviour getting normalised in a university shows university is filled with future molestors, incels, abusers and sexist men. God bless their mothers and sisters."

Earlier, netizens had criticized Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh for their Koffee With Karan episode where they had spoken about their relationship at an earlier stage. Deepika had admitted that two were allowed to see other people in the initial stages of their relationship when they had not committed to each other.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen in 'Fighter' alongside Hrithik Roshan. The Siddharth Anand directorial will hit theatres in January next year.

Deepika Padukone will next be seen in 'Singham Again' in Rohit Shetty's cop universe as Shakti Shetty.
