Maddock Films, led by producer Dinesh Vijan, has announced its latest addition to the popular horror-comedy universe: 'Thama', starring Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead. The film is set to bring together an impressive ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and will hit theatres during Diwali 2025.

‘Thama’ will join Maddock’s successful horror-comedy lineup, which includes hits like the ‘Stree’ series, ‘Bhediya’, and ‘Munjya’, each featuring unique and humorous takes on supernatural themes.  

Aditya Sarpotdar, known for his work on ‘Munjya’, will direct this upcoming film, infusing it with the blend of horror and comedy that fans of the universe have come to expect. 

On social media, Maddock Films shared a teaser for the new film with a playful message: "Dinesh Vijan’s Horror Comedy Universe needed a love story... unfortunately, it’s a bloody one. Niren Bhatt, who previously penned the successful ‘Stree 2’, co-wrote ‘’Thama along with Suresh Mathew and Arun Fulara. Amar Kaushik, the creative force behind ‘Stree 2’, will produce the film alongside Vijan, adding to the film’s promising pedigree.
