Aryan Khan Is ‘Too Talented’, Says Photographer Avinash Gowariker, Calls His Bond With SRK ‘Crazy’
Gowariker also shared insight into Aryan’s bond with his father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, revealing the unique dynamic between them.

Though Aryan Khan is yet to make his official directorial debut, he’s already making waves within the film industry. The young filmmaker has taken a bold step behind the camera with his upcoming Netflix series titled The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. While the show’s premiere date remains under wraps and not a single official glimpse has been released, some of Bollywood’s biggest names have seen early cuts—and they’re seriously impressed.
Avinash Gowariker talks about Aryan Khan
Among those singing praises is celebrity photographer Avinash Gowariker, who recently spoke about Aryan and the project in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble.
“I just love Aryan. I love his energy, his confidence, his swag and I was so looking forward and hoping that he becomes an actor but he has become a director,” said Gowariker.
“What a series he has made! I was lucky to see some parts of it. It’s unbelievable what he has done. He’s too cool, he’s too talented,” he added.
Aryan's bond with Shah Rukh Khan
Gowariker also shared insight into Aryan’s bond with his father, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, revealing the unique dynamic between them.
“Shah Rukh’s relationship with him (Aryan Khan) is mind blowing. Shah Rukh and AbRam’s also. Normally, it’s father and daughter, mother and son. But there is some crazy chemistry of Shah Rukh and Aryan and the way they look,” he noted.
Earlier, Karan Johar had also expressed admiration for Aryan’s directorial prowess during a chat with Raj Shamani.
“I don’t know if I’m even supposed to say this, but I have huge belief in Aryan Khan’s directorial talent. I don’t want to say anything about his Netflix show, because he’ll get very angry, but all I’ll say is this: watch out. If there is a King, there will be a Prince,” said Johar.
“I can say this with confidence, because I’ve seen the show. He has an individualistic voice as a director. He’s not anything like you’d expect Shah Rukh Khan’s son to be. He’s his own person. He works quietly, he doesn’t carry the baggage of his father, he doesn’t carry the weight of his legacy. He works hard; he works 20 hours a day. He is a rare personality type.”
With early praise already setting expectations sky-high, The Ba**ds of Bollywood* may very well mark the beginning of a bold new chapter in Aryan Khan’s creative journey.
