Arjun Kapoor Credits Salman Khan For His Acting Career, Calls Him A 'Fun Guy' With A 'Lot Of Warmth'
In a recent podcast, actor Arjun Kapoor came to the defense of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, dispelling rumours that the actor is a "bully."
New Delhi: Arjun Kapoor often mentions Salman Khan as a major influence in his decision to pursue acting. He started out as an assistant director on Salman Khan's 2009 film 'Wanted' and made his debut in 2012's 'Ishaqzaade'. Arjun denied allegations that Salman is a bully and expressed his appreciation for the actor once again during a recent podcast interview.
Salman Khan is Not a Bully
On Raj Shamani's podcast, Arjun recently talked about the persistent rumours about Salman Khan's character, including the assertions that he is a "bully." Arjun said, “He is not a bully. Anybody who has a tough image… When you are not always openly warm in the first few minutes, you feel they are being a certain way. There is a lot of warmth to that man. It’s just he might not give it in the first second. But you will have to allow that to happen."
The actor added, “He (Salman Khan) is the most fearless man in the world. I have never seen him shirk adversity, or responsibility. He has not changed. He has always been the same person at the core. He has a very strong mind.”

Arjun also discussed Salman's cinematic philosophy, pointing out that the actor has always put the viewers first. “He has always looked at cinema as an audience’s medium, he has never looked at it only as an artiste. Even today, he does stage shows and Bigg Boss. These are mass mediums. He operates for the masses. He has worked for the audience and then he has built that audience. Maybe this comes to him because he is grown up around Salim-Javed. He put it to use in mainstream cinema,” said Arjun.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again'.
