What Rahul Gandhi said about Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai

Rahul Gandhi's remarks at a recent speech that questioned Aishwarya Rai's attendance at the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha have sparked controversy. He remarked, "Did you see the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha? Did you see any OBC or ST/SC faces? It was attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan (Aishwarya Rai), and PM Narendra Modi, but we didn't see the people who truly run the country. These people want to ensure that you guys can never control the country."

Gandhi added at another rally that Amitabh will do a "balle balle" at occasions and that Aishwarya "will dance."

Rahul Gandhi faced the ire of social media users who criticised the politician for including Aishwarya in his speeches. Singer Sona Mohapatra also called out Rahul for demeaning women.
