Amitabh Bachchan On Why He Greets Fans At Jalsa Barefoot: 'You Got A Problem With That !!??'

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan greets his fans every Sunday outside his house Jalsa. In his blog post, the actor also shared why he come outside his house bare feet to meet his fans.

New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan greets his fans every Sunday outside his house Jalsa. The actor also followed the tradition this week and posted pictures greeting his fans outside his home. He also shared pictures of drinking water put outside for his fan due to the summer heat. In his blog post, the actor also shared why he come outside his house bare feet to meet his fans. 

In the pictures, Amitabh Bachchan is seen in a red and blue jacket paired with a white kurta.   

The actor shared that he has installed four containers of drinking water for those who wait outside in the heat. 

 
He wrote: ".. I felt they wait for hours in this sweltering heat , so to provide them drinking water with lime to quench their thirst .. 4 containers, 2 on either side of the gate .. over and above the 'matka' that is permanently there during the day and night." 
 
The star then mentioned why he greets his fans, whom he fondly calls his extended family, barefoot. 
 
".. some sarcastically commented on a few occasions .. "who goes out wearing socks and bare feet .. I say ..'I DO' ! .. you got a problem with that !!?? You go to the temple bare feet .. my well wishers are my temple !!"  

The Pink actor also talked about the importance of comfort wear and said, "Comfort be the elements of use in these times of uncared for attitudes , breaking away from any tradition that could have been imposed .. Shoes .. The comfort of the ‘sneakers’ or whatever else they may be called .. the nikes, the other brands , all .. now the formal wear irrespective .. that black patent leather, that polished bright , whatever , has disappeared .. the white bordered comfort wear be the IT .. !" 

On the work front. Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in courtroom drama 'Section 84’ and 'Project K', also starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
