New Delhi: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan recently spoke up on how he now responds differently to the criticism levelled at him. The actor, who will be 81 in October, recently took to his blog to remark on the change in public opinion. Big B spoke about the negative feedback he's received and how people have become less critical of his work as he has aged.

Amitabh Bachchan has been the target of the inevitable criticism that comes with stardom. The seasoned actor wrote on his personal blog, "Now with age, the ridicule has lessened. Those who are asked or involved in discussions about me now understand that I am 81 years old, old, feeble, and senile.”

Big B continued by saying, “They bear with me, thinking it won't be for long. The responses I receive carry a sense of sympathy, as if they think, 'poor guy, he is so uninformed, let him be,' and so on."

Bachchan discussed his newfound confidence in sharing his views and feelings.

"Moreover, I have developed the audacity to address and express issues that I might not have done before. This fearlessness has reached a stage where I voice matters that were previously unheard of,” the actor concluded.

On Friday, Amitabh shared an update about his upcoming movie with Prabhas. ‘Project K’, directed by Nag Ashwin, will make history in 2023 by debuting at the San Diego Comic-Con. Amitabh Bachchan is thrilled to join the cast of Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in contributing to this groundbreaking film.
