'Our Joy, Our Life, Our Light': Alia Bhatt Pens A Heartfelt Post On Daughter Raha's First Birthday

New Delhi: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter Raha turned one on Monday and Alia took to Instagram to write a heartfelt note for her daughter. Alia posted two pictures and a video to wish her daughter on her special day. 

Sharing the pictures, Alia wrote, “Our joy, our life.. our light! 
 
it feels like just yesterday we were playing this song for you while you were in my tummy kicking away.. 
 
there’s nothing to say only that we’re blessed to have you in our lives.. you make everyday feel like a full creamy yummy delicious piece of cake 
 
Happy birthday baby tiger .. we love you more than love itself ✨☀️🐼💕🌸👨‍👩‍👧” 

The first picture shows Raha’s tiny hands on a creamy cake while the second picture shows Ranbir, Alia and Raha’s hands holding marigold flowers.

Earlier, Raha's grandmothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan took to Instagram to wish their bundle of joy.

Alia's mother Soni wrote, "Seems like just yesterday that you came into our world. Can't believe it's already been a whole year! Happy birthday darling Raha. Happy birthday to you.” 

Neetu reshared Soni's post on her Instagram story. 

Ranbir's sister Riddhima also had a heartfelt wish for her niece. She tool to Instagram stories and wrote, "“… and just like that she turned 1. Happy birthday to my precious doll Raha. We love you to the moon and back.”

Neetu reposted her daughter's wishes with pink hearts and balloons.

Ranbir and Alia got married on April 14, 2022 and became parents on November 6 same year. 

Earlier in an interview with the German pen company Hauser, Ranbir had revealed that Alia writes emails to Raha. 

"Alia is actually writing her an email every day and I thought I would start writing to her someday. I am actually. Now since I am part of ...so I will write her extraordinary letters to her,” he had said. 

On the acting front, Ranbir will be next seen in ‘Animal’ and Alia will nne seen in 'Jigra'.
