Actor Ajaz Khan has gone missing after a rape case was registered against him in Mumbai. The complainant has alleged that he sexually assaulted her under the false promise of marriage and job opportunities. His anticipatory bail plea has been denied, and a police search is currently underway, according to Mumbai Police.

According to reports, Ajaz had applied for anticipatory bail—first in the sessions court and then in the Bombay High Court—to avoid arrest. However, the sessions court had already rejected his plea. The Bombay High Court is now scheduled to hear the matter on June 2.

Allegations of Rape and Exploitation over Ajaz Khan

A woman has accused Ajaz Khan of sexually assaulting her multiple times under false pretenses. In her complaint, she alleged that Ajaz promised to marry her and assured her a role in a reality show titled House Arrest. Using these promises, he allegedly coerced her into a physical relationship. She further stated that the assaults occurred on several occasions. Following the FIR, the police formed a special team to track and arrest the actor.

However, Ajaz has since gone underground—his phone is switched off, and his current whereabouts remain unknown. Authorities are now examining all possible hideouts in an effort to apprehend him.

Controversy Over Reality Show ‘House Arrest’

Ajaz Khan and the producers of the OTT reality show House Arrest, which streamed on the Ullu app, are also facing separate legal trouble. The show sparked outrage due to its explicit content, leading to a complaint being filed at the Amboli Police Station. Multiple clips from the show went viral on social media, showing Ajaz instructing contestants to pose in sexually suggestive positions. Public backlash over these clips led to formal complaints, and all episodes of House Arrest were eventually removed from the streaming platform.
