The rumours gained traction when Abhishek and Aishwarya arrived separately at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding last month. The gossip was further fueled when Abhishek liked an Instagram post discussing the increasing trend of 'grey divorces.' Now an old video of Abhishek Bachchan, addressing the speculation about things not going well in his marriage with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is going viral.

Abhishek addressed the status of his marriage just days after attending the premiere of Aishwarya's 2016 film Sarbjit. When a reporter asked him if their recent public appearances suggested any issues between them, Abhishek responded, "I don't have to say anything to you all about that. You all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. But I understand why you do it. You all have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry."

Earlier Abhishek Bachchan's deepfake was making rounds on Instagram. The shows Abhishek allegedly stating, "This July, Aishwarya and I have decided to get divorced." The video was posted with a caption that read, "I do not know the authenticity of the video, whether it is true or fabricated.
