Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Opening Weekend Box Office Collection: Kartik Aaryan's Starrer Mints Rs 56 Cr

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to revitalise the Bollywood business after the box office disasters of recent Hindi films such as Runway 34, Heropanti 2, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar.

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani’s flick Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2's third-day box office receipts have increased by 30%. In comparison to the previous movies, this is the greatest opening weekend gross for Kartik Aryan's career and the top performing Hindi film of 2022, ranking 4th overall after the dubbed films KGF 2, Doctor Strange 2, and RRR.

According to Taran Adarsh, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 raked in close of Rs 56 crore in its first weekend of release. On Friday and Saturday, the film took in Rs 14.11 crore and Rs 18.34 crore, respectively. Sunday witnessed a tremendous increase in revenue, with Rs 23.51 crore being generated. This equates to an overall gross of Rs 55.96 crore.

The movie has a good chance of earning 150 crores if it does well at the box office in the coming weeks. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is expected to revitalise the Bollywood business after the box office disasters of recent Hindi films such as Runway 34, Heropanti 2, and Jayeshbhai Jordaar. As a result, it has become Kartik Aaryan's greatest opening day grosser ever, surpassing the previous record holder, ‘Love Aaj Kal’. Imtiaz Ali's film had a strong opening weekend gross of Rs 35.94 crores.

As the sequel of 2007's Akshay Kumar starrer, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, the sequel follows in the footsteps of its predecessor. Anees Bazmee takes the reins this time around after Priyadarshan helmed the original. In addition to Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav and Tabu feature in the film.
