Amitabh Bachchan Has A Quirky Reaction To User Calling Abhishek 'Free': 'Vo Toh Busy....'

Bollywood’s legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan has penned an emotional and deeply moving blog post dedicated to his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan.

Bollywood’s legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan has penned an emotional and deeply moving blog post dedicated to his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan. In words that beautifully blend fatherly pride and profound respect, the ‘Sholay’ star praised Abhishek not merely as his son by birth, but as someone who has truly earned his place as an artist through dedication, fearless choices, and the courage to grow.

Amitabh Bachchan's Emotional Post For Abhishek

Amitabh began his heartfelt note by quoting his own father, the celebrated poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan: “My sons, just because you are my sons, shall not be my inheritors; they who shall be my inheritors, shall be my sons.”

By sharing this timeless line, Amitabh underlined that true legacy is not passed down by blood alone but must be earned through merit and character — something he believes Abhishek has done remarkably.

Reflecting on Abhishek’s journey, the megastar wrote: “He has dared to take on films and characters that challenged him, and he ‘acted’. He dared to act and be recognised.”

Netizens' Reaction To Amitabh's Post

Amitabh’s raw, affectionate tribute has struck a chord with fans across generations. Many have lauded the post for its warmth, wisdom, and the rare honesty with which he acknowledges Abhishek’s struggles and triumphs.

However, in a hilarious twist, a content creator reacted to Amitabh's post and commented about Abhishek. He wrote, "Is liye woh free hai and aap Movies kar rahe hain.."

Replying to the comment in a witty manner, Amitabh wrote, "vo busy hain ... free toh aap hain !!!"

Reacting to Amitabh's unexpected reply, the user wrote, "Hahah! Unexpected..!!! Woh game khel rahe so mujhe laga woh free hain.."

Backing Abhishek’s Bold New Film

Earlier on Saturday, Amitabh also took to his X account to express his pride in Abhishek’s upcoming film Kaalidhar Laapata, whose trailer dropped on June 21.

He shared his prayers and blessings, writing: “My prayers Abhishek .. your ability to choose different roles and films and to immerse yourself in them .. and succeed .. a very rare quality .. love and blessings.”

About Kaalidhar Laapata

Directed by Madhumita, Kaalidhar Laapata sees Abhishek stepping into the shoes of Kaalidhar — a middle-aged man burdened by memory loss and the wounds of lifelong betrayal. When he overhears his own siblings planning to abandon him during the chaotic Maha Kumbh Mela, Kaalidhar takes charge of his fate, choosing to vanish on his own terms.

Fate, however, has other plans. He crosses paths with Ballu (played by Daivik Bhagela), an outspoken, street-smart 8-year-old who’s been surviving alone on India’s unforgiving streets. What begins as a chance encounter blossoms into something far deeper and life-changing.
