Alia Bhatt Announces Release Date Of RRR Starring Jr NTR, Ram Charan
RRR, produced by DVV Danaya, is being made on a mammoth budget of more than Rs 450 crore. According to SS Rajamouli, RRR is a fictional tale of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem.
Finally! The upcoming magnum opus RRR starring Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt among others have a got a release date. The film which is helmed by SS Rajamouli is going to hit the theatres in October.
Announcing the release date of the film, Alia Bhatt took to her Instagram handle and announced the merry news to her fans. The actress wrote, 'Get ready for RRR, in cinemas on 13.10.2021'
Director SS Rajamouli also took to his official page on Twitter to share a new poster with the film's release date. He wrote, 'Witness the unstoppable force of fire and water on October 13, 2021.'
The official Twitter handle of RRR revealed a new poster with the release date of the film. According to the latest poster, RRR will release in a grand manner on October 13 this year. Apart from Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam, RRR will also release in other foreign languages.
The RRR team wrote, 'This October 13, witness Fire and Water come together as a FORCE that has never been experienced before. The biggest collaboration in Indian cinema is set to deliver a memorable experience!!! THE RIDE BEGINS.'

While Ram Charan plays Alluri Seetharama Raju, Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem in the big-budget period film.
Apart from Indian actors, many foreign actors including Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles. Ray and Olivia will play Mr and Mrs Scott in RRR, according to their previous posts on Instagram.
Currently, SS Rajamouli and the RRR team are shooting the film's climax sequence featuring Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The technical crew of RRR includes composer MM Keeravani, cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar and editor Sreekar Prasad.
