Alanna Panday And Ivor Mccray Get Married In Manish Malhotra's Ethnic Attires

Alanna Panday and Ivor McCray tied the knot in a fairytale wedding in Mumbai yesterday night.

New Delhi: Alanna Panday, the cousin of Ananya Panday, tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony in Mumbai yesterday night. Alanna finally gets married to her longtime boyfriend Ivor McCray in front of their closest friends and family members. The first pictures of Alanna and Ivor were posted online by sister Ananya Panday.

Ananya Panday posted two videos of their wedding ceremony: one shows the pair taking pheras, while the other shows them sitting and apparently listening to the vachanas (promises). 

Although official images from the star-studded wedding have yet to be released, sneak peeks offered by guests indicate that it was a white wedding.

They had an all-white wedding as the bride and groom wore ivory attires, and the venue was decorated in shades of white. The attire Alanna wore on the big day, however, went viral. The bride ditched the customary red in favour of a white chikankari and sequined lehenga ensemble. While white is a traditional Christian wedding colour, Alanna's Manish Malhotra lehenga is a modern take on the classic colour. 

The bridal lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra and came in several tones of white and ivory. Instead of elaborate ornamentation, Alanna's lehenga was covered head to toe in beautiful floral embroidery. 

Alanna’s bridal ensemble was enhanced with a chiffon veil and a transparent dupatta with an intricate border. She accessorised her bridal lehenga with a mang tika, diamond drop earrings, and a diamond choker necklace. Her makeup base was dewy with a nude lip tint, mascara, and a dash of highlighter. Her hair was styled in loose waves. 

Ivor looked suave in a white Manish Malhotra ethnic sherwani with flared trousers. He also donned an ivory stole. Finally, a sleek watch and a gold turban completed his ensemble. Both of them were wearing white flowery varmalas around their necks.

Chikki and Deanne Pandey throw a grand reception after the wedding which was attended by several Bollywood stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Ananya Panday, Kanika Kapoor, Orhan Awatramani, and Aaliyah Kashyap.
