Akshay Kumar Starrer 'Prithviraj' Trailer To Release On Monday

Akshay Kumar will play the titular role in the film while Manushi Chhillar of Miss World 2017 fame will be making her Bollywood debut with 'Prithviraj'

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood. At any given point in a year, the actor is always busy shooting for his upcoming film projects which is also the reason why he manages to release more films in a year than any actor on an average in Bollywood. Akshay Kumar's new film 'Prithviraj' produced by Yash Raj Films is all set to release its trailer on Monday.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his official Twitter handle to announce the news. Sharing the poster of the film in which we see Akshay donning the war attire of  Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty, Taran wrote, "AKSHAY KUMAR: 'PRITHVIRAJ' TRAILER ON MONDAY... #YRF will launch #PrithvirajTrailer - starring #AkshayKumar - on [Monday] 9 May 2022... Directed by Dr #ChandraprakashDwivedi... 3 June 2022 release in #Hindi, #Tamil and #Telugu. #Prithviraj #IMAX."

'Prithviraj' is an epic period action film directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi. It is based on the life of Prithviraj Raso, a Braj Bhasha epic poem about the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a king from the Chahamana dynasty. 

Akshay Kumar will play the titular role in the film while Manushi Chhillar of Miss World 2017 fame will be making her Bollywood debut with 'Prithviraj'. Manushi will play the role of  Sanyogita, one of the three wives of Prithviraj Chauhan.

Besides the lead cast, 'Prithviraj' has a huge ensemble cast including the likes of Manav Vij, Sanjay Dutt, Sakshi Tanwar, Ashutosh Rana and Lalit Tiwari.

The film is slated to release on 3rd June 2022.
