Mizoram Exit Poll 2023 Live Streaming: The Mizoram Election 2023 witnessed a substantial 78.38 percent voter turnout by 11 PM on Tuesday, as citizens cast their ballots for the 40 assembly seats on November 7. The final voter turnout figures are pending release by the Election Commission of India. Voting in Mizoram began at 7 AM and concluded at 4 PM, with over 8 lakh (8,50,288) eligible voters participating across 1,276 polling places in the northeastern state.

According to the official timetable provided by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the counting of votes is scheduled to commence on Sunday (December 3). The announcement of results will encompass all five states that underwent assembly elections simultaneously: Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Mizoram.

In adherence to EC regulations, exit polls in Mizoram are permitted only after the completion of voting in all five states. To provide a brief overview, the Assembly elections commenced with Mizoram and Chhattisgarh on November 7. Chhattisgarh conducted elections in two phases on November 7 and November 17, while Madhya Pradesh held its assembly elections on November 17. Rajasthan followed with elections on November 23, and finally, Telangana is set to conduct its elections on November 30.

The Election Commission of India, responsible for overseeing elections in the country, has implemented strict guidelines to uphold fairness and accessibility. As part of these measures, all exit polls are prohibited until 7 PM on November 30. Elections unfolded in the five states between November 7 and November 30, with Mizoram initiating the process and Telangana concluding it. The ban on exit polls is effective from 7:00 AM on November 7 to 6:30 PM on November 30, as per the Election Commission's October notice.
