With the elections to five states set to culminate on November 30 with the polls in Telangana, ABP News-CVoter will bring you the exit poll results after the end of voting at 6.30 pm on Thursday. The results for all the five states -- Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram -- will be declared on December 3. The results will be an indicator of what lies in store for the BJP and the Congress, along with the I.N.D.I.A bloc, in the 2024 Lok Sabha election, which is just months away.
ABP-CVoter opinion polls for the five states have predicted a close contest between the ruling and its challengers. In Telangana, the ABP-CVoter opinion poll has predicted a photo finish for BRS and Congress, with the KCR-led party only marginally ahead.
In Mizoram, Zoramthanga's Mizo National Front (MNF), despite battling anti-incumbency, is likely to return to power and bag anywhere between 17 to 21 seats in the 40-seat Assembly. The ZPM is likely to give tough competition to MNF and may win 10-14 of the seats, as per the ABP-CVoter opinion poll.
In Chhattisgarh, the Congress government is likely to return to power but with a thin margin. Madhya Pradesh will also see a tight contest and the ABP-CVoter opinion poll has predicted a win for the Congress. Rajasthan, which has followed the revolving door trend of electing governments, may see BJP wrest back the state from the Congress.
